Angelo Lekkas
My career began as a professional footballer with the Hawthorn Football Club from the age of 17.
I simultaneously juggled with my studies, developed my skills in communication, problem-solving, negotiation and leadership. I was honored to be a state and country representative in the AFL and 200 club member and i consider this a great achievement.
During this time i was also awarded ambassadorial position's with the AFL's game development department as well as the Australian stroke foundation, which was a great privilege.
I began my career in the financial industry as an Investment Lending Manager at ANZ bank with specialising in the management of purchase loans, refinances and loan restructures for all residential, commercial and business lending.
After identifying hugely successful partners and opportunities in the market, I established EXP Financial Group in 2013; we are a mortgage broker company that understand the requirements and processes that must be met to obtain loan approvals at all major banks and financial institutions.
My general view and focus is on development, both personally and professionally whilst continuing to align EXP Financial group with credible Australian charitable organisations as i truly believe in the benefit of working with purpose!
